Finally...

It has been a LONG time since I posted, so this is going to be an extra long post! I am just going to recap eventfull things that have happened since McKay's surgery! First of all, in January, JaNae and Jason chose to get sealed in the temple. It was so nice. The spirit was really strong, and they looked so happy! Hariella was actually given permission to leave her mission in Hawaii to come home for the sealing! It was SOOO great to have her here! It felt normal again while she was here! We miss her and Kieth a lot, but we know they are doing a great thing by serving right now! (I didn't take ANY pictures!!...so annoying when I do that).

Next, it was Carl's big 30th birthday! I can't BELIEVE he is 30!! He is excited about his thirties, but I on the other hand am kindof freaking out! I still feel like I am 21, and 29 is just around the corner!! We didn't do much for his birthay. I should have planned a big party or something, but Carl doesn't really love parties, and I worry to much about them.....so he and I just went out to dinner without the kiddos! I can't believe he is 30!!

Does he seem like he is 30!?!?! haha

Then a couple weeks later McKay had his 3rd birthday! Time is just flying by!! He had so much fun on his big day, and he got to celebrate the whole weekend, because my parents and Lori came down for the weekend! He got really spoiled, but he was SOOO happy! When he woke up on his birthday, he had his spiderman balloons waiting for him! We (I) couldn't wait for him to open his gifts, so he opened them in the morning! He is REALLY into spiderman so pretty much everything he recieved was to do with spiderman on some other superhero! We had a party for him with his little friends, and they all dressed up in their superhero outfits and played and ate really messy cupcakes!






He is just getting so old. His little personality is so funny. He is really observant, almost TOO observant. He notices EVERYTHING!! He is into taking things apart and trying to put them back together. He LOVES his "best friend" Lukey and wants to play with him everyday! He LOVES his sister, and they play really well for the most part. He is always looking out for her, and protects her. His FAVORITE things to eat are quesidilla's and chicken nuggets. He would watch T.V. all day if I let him, and he also loves to draw! He is getting really good at drawing people. He has a size 10 foot, and wears 5T clothes. He weighs 40lbs, but it feels like he is over 60!! haha The one thing that NEVER changes with McKay is that he LOVES his daddy! Carl is truly the little guys hero! He thinks that his dad is the strongest guy ever, the only person that can fix ANYTHING, and he wants to be with Carl whenever Carl is around. It makes a little teary eyed thinking about it. I hope it stays like that forever! I love McKay sooo much! He tests my patience at times, but I LOVE him and I am so grateful that he keeps me on my toes!

While my parents and aunt were here we didn't do much, but it was so nice to have them here! My Dad golfed everyday, so my mom, aunt and I just hung out! We went shopping, we sat outside in the sunshine while it was nice and just talked! I LOVE being around my family! They are all the best! I wish they would all move to St. George! haha

All in all it has been a good month and a half since the last post! Spring is definitely on it's way! I have planted my flowers and I just can't wait for it to get nice and warm!! I LOVE this time of year!
