Christmas Eve & Christmas Morning

Christmas was wonderful this year! We spent our entire Christmas in Nephi this year. We missed Hariella and Kieth so much, but we were able to Skype with them...so at least we were able to see them. We had our annual Christmas Eve party which is something I look forward too evey year! It is a fun night, with games, Delicious food,a pinata, a skit of the Savior's birth and quality family time! It so much fun being with the whole family. I would have to say the one of the highlights of the evening was the video that JoDee made of all the grand kids. It was AWESOME!! Another highlight is when McKay opened his gift from Grandma & grandpa! It was hilarious! He is SOOO into Spiderman right now. He asked Santa Claus for a "spiderman shirt, spiderman pants, spiderman mask and a spiderman "pssst"(he throws his hand out when he says that, like he is throwing out the web)!!! Needless to say, (because the pictures say it all)...He LOVED his gift!




Ella loved her gift as well! She got a little baby with bottle! She carried it around the whole time! Good thing she had Kailee to show her how to feed the baby!


The kids love the pinata! Grandma always put the best treats in it! I remember when I was a child how much I loved the pinata. I am sure that my kids will feel the same way about it! I love traditions!




After the party we went back to my mom's and we got to open up our pajama's! I love that we all get a new pair of pajama's for christmas! This picture is of all the kiddo's together in their new pj's! It was impossible to get the kids to look at the camera. They were all WAY too excited!

Christmas morning is one of my favorite things. Now that I have kids, it is even better. It isn't the gifts that I love, it is the FEELING you get that morning. Waking up, walking out & seeing the lights on the tree. The feeling of excitement and anticipation....it is just the MAGIC of it all. I love it. I couldn't wait to see the looks on McKay and Ella's faces. I LOVE seeing my kids happy...and they were definitely happy!! McKay was really excited to see his fourwheeler....

Good thing there is room enough for two!!

Christmas is so wonderful to me, not only because we get to be together as family and friends, but because we get to celebrate Christ's birth. I am so grateful for the time we take through the season to reflect on Him. It is such a magical time because for ONE day of the year, MOST people have Christ on their mind, even if it is only for a brief moment. That is what make's Christmas so MAGICAL. I LOVE it!
