This year we spent Thanksgiving with my family in Nephi. We had Thanksgiving dinner at my parents house. It turned out really nice, and it was just a relaxing fun day! We did our gingerbread houses, and the kids LOVED it! They always do...I think because they just eat candy the whole time they are decorating! It is such a fun tradition to have. Thanksgiving night, Carl, Kara, Hayley, Kami and I went to Walmart at midnight. It was a MAD HOUSE...I repeat...MAD HOUSE!! I don't think I will do Black friday again any time soon. I just don't like to fight for items, and that is what you have to do to get the good stuff! haha It was quite the experience!
The next day Santa made his way to Nephi....so we took the kiddos to visit him. They all did really well. No one cried or refused to sit on his lap, so that was great!!
This year we also made it out to Tuachan to see the nativity. It turned out to be a really warm and beautiful night. I think we will do that every year from here on out! It was really a neat thing to see. The kids had a good time too! They thought it was so cool that they got to sit on Santa's lap again!
